the pig unleashed... erm... happy 30th!!!

I'm just sipping my uber bitter Abs bitter tea after our pigging out round from spirals. Unfortunately for those reading this post (and who've i've promised pictures...) there are no pictures of food within this blog, coz looks like people are quite famished and ohhh!! there's no time to take pictures!! (quite the classic excuse) hehehe!! i wasn't able to keep this surprise a secret from my parents for fear that they wouldn't be able to come tonight with us.. yessss.... i'm not tactful enough to invent excuses.. (coz i was a good girl before.. even upto now not to make up my own excuse letters) hahaha!! Before i go into the juicy details of the food... lemme first thank my card sponsors..

Shirley and her hubby Michael, for generously lending me their card and slashing the bill to almost a half!! Yey!! you guys are my heroes!!

To my mom and dad... Happy Happy 30th!! its been through heaven and hell knowing you guys and for being there for us!! Love ya both!!

Now to the nitty gritty yummy details... Spirals i think is the yummy extension or pattern of Circles, wherein each continent gets to present their best dishes... They've got japanese, korean, chinese, italian, indian, french, and filipino dishes, all spiraled out in the center. I started off with the usual salmon and gradually worked my way to lobsters, tempura's, mussels (yum yum!), naan bread, octopus (too chewy for me), goat's cheese, french cheese, eels and a whole lot more!! And to think that wasn't enough, I just had to try their dessert bar which was really fantastic!! I had to feel less sinful by burying myself with no-sugared mixed berry ice cream and the vanilla choco, the healthy non-sugared tiramisu (2cups of those please!!) and vanilla pudding... ohhh.. heaven!!

Now back to sipping my bitter herb.... ^^
