pissed off

since my cr is pestered with those roaches... i found some way of killing em off.. the natural way... pouring a bucketful of really soapy water.. (since i'm too cowardly to step on them.. eeekkk!!!) one really big one ventured into my previous toothbrush n toothpaste pile (again!! but nowadays i soak them in water and listerine) so i armed myself with 2 tabo's of soapy water and made a mess in the cr.. at least that ****ed roach is dead... happy happy happy!! evil grin...

***************

its a friday night and i stay at home.. yipeeee... like a good ole' schoolgirl.. sigh... oh well... then there goes someone nagging on and on about some rubbish... its a good thing that i'm single so she rants about something else... sometimes when you're already sulking coz u feel like you're being grounded at home and that someone just had to add those rubbish words.. i can't help but explode... hahahhaah.. oh well... might be better tomorrow....

how much does it pay to be...

a field inspector of malls? ^^
we went to a lot of mall places today... by a lot, i meant more than 1 ^^
there's Mall of Asia

then taking a breather in Powerplant, Rockwell, where we thought of stopping by UCC, but then again the price is just way too steep... for 499, i could eat at Saisaki... and speaking of Saisaki, i was really craving for some japanese food.. thus resolving to snack at Tokyo tokyo.. but it just pales in comparison.. the tuna is only ham-ham.... and the red tea is way too sugary for me... Dinner at J Bee's and off we go to SM North... they have this grand opening hypermart
a supermarket that has almost everything...
a department store..

an appliance center...

and even computer store rolled into one!!

ok that's too much publicity for henry sy... i'd better shut up for now.. hehehe

how would you feel if your day falls on...

the same darned day as the first gentleman's birthday??
First Gentleman Jose Miguel “Mike” Arroyo and some Cabinet members, including Health Secretary Francisco Duque, were present at what was supposedly a pre-birthday dinner for Mr. Arroyo whose birthday falls on the 27th when the President is scheduled to be in Europe.

do i get to ride on a limousine? ^^
do i get to hook on casinos in las vegas?
do i get to have a front seat on the pacquiao match? (as if!! hahaha!!)
do i get a billion bucks?

a personal note: shucks.. why do i have to have the same birthdate with a sucker? hahahaha...

things out of the pensieve

several fragments have been going through my mind in the basis of singleness.. and so far, evaluating my current state, i'm seriously not yet ready for a relationship.. hahaha...

you know you're lucky that you're single when:
a. you hear whining kids
b. you hear screaming babies
c. you hear whining parents on skyrocketing tuitions
d. you hear friends' ramblings on insensitive guys
e. you hear friends' ramblings on parents' nosyness on relationships
f. you see girls constantly asking partners if what they are wearing is ok
g. you see girls in dismay on what to get their partners
h. you see hearts constantly broken
i. you don't have to hear anyone snore at night (and have a goodnight's rest!)
j. you don't have in-laws to please.
k. you don't have to care what the other thinks of you!! ^^
l. a whole lot others!!

i'm super thankful for being single ^^
if you want more depressing marriage issues... you could see it here.. and here..

some satirical, nonsensical logic that goes with this topic (hot from the mail)

If your father is a poor man,
it is your fate but,
if your father-in-law is a poor man,
it's your stupidity.

Success is a relative term.
It brings so many relatives.

** does that correlate with the "love is blind" thingy?

Behind every successful man, there is a woman
And behind every unsuccessful man, there are two.
** King Solomon's case might be an exaggeration of this.. haha

Every man should marry.
After all, happiness is not the only thing in life.
** go ahead and shoot yourself if you want a death penalty.. ^^

The wise never marry.
and when they marry they become otherwise.
** hahah!! this is the best one!!!

and some more funny, but sometimes true ethnic practice (hot from the mailbox too!)

dad's day

didn't do anything special today... just made over the room and my eye caught the newspaper (free from jollibee) hehehe.. and in the Sunday Lifestyle section, i read the following lines that best describes my feelings for my dad:

My daddy crushes my heart with so much love and despite everything I will always look back to check if he's happy with what I'm doing, even if I wear a face that says: I don't care. The same way daddies do everything for their little girls, little girls do everything for their daddies too. --Celine R. Lopez

Blame me for being daddy's little girl. Dunno but girls are made for daddies and sons are made for mommies. In this case I am thankful that God made me a girl. coz my dad's a great person to know. Sometimes people take him for a towering person coz he's got a demanding attitude but I seldom saw that in him. And before, when i used to be his "little girl", i guess i can take away his stress and make him smile. But things have changed. One look and he's still angry.. That comes with age maybe. ^^ I'm not as cute as before.. =D But even with all that, I still love him deeply and my time on earth has sure been worth it knowing a great person.. ^^

A glimpse of different lives

They're still the same!!
They're still the same, others thinner, but all grown up now!!! The babies are now ladies!!

Editor's note: Forgive the previous post, I was too sleepy to window dress the language so please bear with the rash language .. ^^ Other journals better documents the proceedings of the meeting.. =)

June 12, Independence Day. The day was set out to be with friends. After much debate and argue with my mom, wherein i usually win, i get to go to UECP, the universal meeting place of our ka-berks. Sadly, i was the first to be there.. (coz usually, i'm the last one to be there) I can still remember those days where we use to collate our reviewers for our exams and only to find out that our reviewers were much harder than the actual exams.

After a few calls and painstakingly waiting for the others to come, Friend#2 was the next to come. Whoa!! She's on the phone!! That's the first time i saw her so blooming all these years.. Scary, meaning we can't be what we used to be, laughing, giggling, innocent girls anymore.. Time sometimes is so cruel, forcing us to move forward but we surge with the flow. No one can't stop it, no one can stop us from growing up =(

The others came a few moments later.. After much giggling and harassing each other to tell stories, we head off to the most usual stop, RP. WEll, this was a place that i missed. I used to go there with a friend, but after growing apart, I also stopped going there. Several stuffs had changed, like the basketball hoopla i used to enjoy was no longer there... So much memories that were demolished and turned into computer shops...

Back to the group. We headed to Sbarro's and started goofing off with our fun filled stories. No more were we the shy ones who'd secretly cling to her own story. We each had a story to share. Finding comfort in the stories that others had shared and finding out that we were not alone in facing those types of situations. Others had the "perfect cup" relationship, while others were struggling. But through it all, although you would hear all those types of stories all over the internet that you'd get bored reading it, hearing it from your close comrades gives it a different twist, a different zest. Like you want them to stay happy all the time. Most problems centered around family members and others were in the sort of compatibility. When and when not to fight for love. It sounds so much a sort of a cross over jdrama and kdrama rolled into one.. ^^ Yes we were all late bloomers. It has its good side and its bad side. But the former outnumbering the latter. We could all boast of this fact and connect with one another naturally.

Others were still facing life's challenges of further studies and dreaming of migrating to other countries.

I only hope for everyone's happiness, saluting each and everyone for her past, present and future achievements. You know who you are and I am honored to have been part of your lives. If ever geography becomes a hindrance for most of us, call me, I have a friend in PAL.. hehehhehhe!!! ^^

Sonya's Garden!

The day started out with a heavy rain at our house.... And my hopes just seemed to have shattered into pieces.... I then texted Cheanne: "Do we have other alternatives aside from going to that place?" But really my heart sank that time. Thus i prayed hard that the sky would be sunny all throughout.... Thank God for answered prayers!!

During the ride, thank ken for the ride.. and his sore feet acquired whilst driving.. ^^ you're the man!!! hehehe!! i shall forever be grateful!! bow bow bow!! i can only remember that i kept on asking... "are we there yet??" "are we there yet??" hehehe!!

Sonya's was really one happy happy happy experience for me!! I can never forget the delicious salads and wonderful wonderful toppings they have!! and plus the spagetti red sauce!! whooo hooo!! Stuffed myself with white cheese, langka (frozen), and pesto, and other unknown but yummy toppings.. hehehe!!

life time wish?

My lifetime wish!! hehehe!! just kidding... Well sumthing finally pulled through..

What a better day than to spend the time with good friends, good food and great poses!! hehehe!!!
